For translations in Switzerland we usually refer to the length of the text to be translated and agree on a price per standard line (55 characters, including spaces). The price per line depends on the text type and difficulty, as well as on the formatting and structure of the files to be translated.

Simple texts, specialist texts, localisation and multimedia translation (except transcription): 2.50 - 4.50 CHF per line

Any changes made to the original text after sending the project may be charged as a supplement.

For the other services, however, it is difficult to estimate the effort required. In this case an hourly rate applies.

Revision, post-editing, proofreading, consulting, transcription: 120 CHF per hour

The first hour of consulting is free of charge.
